Overview

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. As Head of Legal you will be accountable for legal advisory and practice through the company multinational operation as a Group. This means overseeing a wide range of deliverables with enhanced complexity, related to industry challenges within both law and compliance frameworks. With ambition to grow the company business, establish a global footprint and take associated calculated risks, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with management, commercial and business development teams to take the appropriate measures. You'll also take accountability for supporting and advising the company business with drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex legal contracts meeting the company diverse needs over multiple territories. What’s more, you will oversee the deliveries of the in-house legal counsel team split between the company Malta and Stockholm offices. Being a leader and mentor by nature, you will ensure the development of your team within legal areas as well as in processes, procedures and business thinking. You bring 6 years’ experience to the table making you confident with negotiating, drafting and closing complex commercial transactions. Have managed teams within a similar e-commerce environment you have been exposed to compliance and regulations and you also hold a European University Law Degree. You are business-focused by nature, practical and commercial facing, happy and accustomed to working with a significant amount of autonomy. Given your years of experience, you know your way around commercial contracts, litigation, software IP and licensing, and have a genuine interest in business strategy If you have worked with iGaming or with software IP and licensing, or have been involved in IPO, this would be considered an asset. What’s more if you speak Swedish or have had exposure to this market, this would be considered a great plus
