Recruitment Consultant Permanent Position Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for Recruitment Consultant to join the GI Group at our busy Derby branch. The role is to manage the Industrial Recruitment desk for the branch. Gi Group in the UK provides recruitment, staffing and workforce management services to local and national clients of all sizes, placing an average of 40,000 temporary and permanent staff into work nationwide each week across many market sectors. We work with over 12,500 companies across 12 countries worldwide. The company are privately owned and are ranked as 25th largest agency in the world on turnover, 9th largest in Europe. The Role: The role of a 360-recruitment consultant is generally set out across two areas: Sourcing for talented individuals to match to client requirements Business Development of existing and prospect clients As a Recruitment Consultant within the GI Group you will enjoy a wealth of support from your Colleagues, Branch Manager, and Operations Manager The Person: The role is generally based around talking to people, therefore we are looking for somebody who has excellent rapport building skills and is comfortable dealing with people at all levels. In addition to this, you must have a background in Business Development and an understanding of the sales cycle.
