Overview

Commercial Manager Are you an experienced Commercial Manager? Are you willing to work within a stable globally recognised company? If so then please read on and apply Job Purpose: The Commercial Manager is responsible for ensuring the company is protected within contract negotiation for both service and installation projects. The role will ensure the best possible commercial advantage for the company within the scope of the contract negotiation. Preparation of application and invoicing for installation, preparation and submittal of variation to contracts and ensuring we are paid appropriately. Key Responsibilities: Contract negotiation at sales stage including pre contract meetings Commercial negotiations through the contract period Preparation and submittal of contract applications Preparation and submittal of contract variations through the contract period Assessment and advice regarding terms and conditions of sale for both UK and international contracts and orders where needed. Assessment and amendment of contract terms for Service and installation Visits to sites to carry out QS duties throughout the contract period Attendance at contract review meeting to ensure up to date understanding of all running contracts Ensure all financial information on installation contracts within the ERP is accurate and up to date To undertake ad-hoc projects as required Person Specification Qualifications: General standard of education – ie GCSE / O’Level. Has attained passes in English and Maths. Appropriate commercial qualification MBA, etc. Possess a Business Admin qualification. Knowledge (Knowledge, experience & background) Experience in order processing within a customer support environment. Has excellent interpersonal skills Computer literate – ie MS Office, Lotus Notes Knowledge and experience in JCT/NEC and General UK Contract T&C (England and Wales). Experience of internal sales Has proven business analysis skills Has knowledge of the compressed air industry Personality - The successful candidate will be: A confident person who is a good team leader / player. Must have eye for detail, also drive and commitment to see the job through to a successful conclusion. Be highly motivated, enthusiastic and determined. An articulate, sociable person Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability. Able to get on with others and be a team player.
