This role as Assistant Accountant (Temporary) is an exciting opportunity to work within the technology sector. The positive is looking for someone who has at least 2 years experience in Accountancy and Finance and is looking to gain more experience within the technology sector to cover sick leave. Client Details Based in the City of London, this technology company work remotely from home and within the office. This role will begin working from home and will require the candidate to have access to set up from home. Description This role Assistant Accountant (Temporary) involves: - Sales ledger, payroll and credit control duties - Maintenance of the cash book - Maintenance of the petty cash account - Reconciling bank accounts - Accruals and prepayments - Reconciling the nominal ledger - Journal entries - Quarterly VAT returns - Financial services sector - Temporary role - Must have access to work from home -Paid hourly - Start next week Profile The successful Assistant Accountant (Temporary) candidate will: - Have access to work from home. for example have a laptop/desktop with Microsoft package - Have at least 2 years experience in accountancy and finance - Be happy to work on a temporary basis - Be available within the next week - Have good excel knowledge (Vlookups and pivot tables) Job Offer The successful candidate will be happy to work remotely from home and help the team with sick leave.
