Overview

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. Ensure the management of all financial aspects of the commercial organization including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and overall management and accountability of the P&L of International region. Provide effective leadership to maximize the development of the business and its people. Manage the organization to accommodate anticipated growth and to ensure strong bench strength across all levels and functions. Serve as a key contributor to the global commercial team and ensure that International region dynamics and objectives are adequately represented to maximize growth and profitability within the region as well as globally across markets. Foster a strong culture of patient centricity and innovation. Ensure the environment at the company is one which enables the recruitment, retention and development of world class talent. Be an active member of the company leadership team, contribute to shaping the company’s future beyond the commercial functions. Provide business updates to the leadership team, including the tracking and communication of results in terms of key performance metrics and targets. Recommend and implement adjustments to strategies and tactics as needed. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including cross functional colleagues, customer groups, industry and professional associations. Positively represent the company and its products. Meet and exceed marketing launch and growth objectives for new and existing products, overseeing all aspects of execution and resource allocation. Evaluate and execute new market entry strategies. Ensure effective market and competitive information gathering, analysis and interpretation to influence business outcomes. Provide direction and input into the development and implementation of successful reimbursement and market-access strategies. Oversee compliance activities for Commercial Operations in International region as they relate to all commercial regulations and local legal requirements. Significant years of increasing responsibility and demonstrated results in both the strategic and operational aspects of leadership. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, an outstanding track record of building and leading high-performance commercial organizations. Proven P&L and general management experience, including demonstrated success in leading a sizable commercial business within one or more key markets/sub regions in the International region. Substantive experience in the commercialization of vaccines preferred. Also requires a solid understanding of the industry’s complex regulatory, market access and commercial requirements with an absolute commitment to competing on the highest ethical level are essential. Ability to Identify new business opportunities and manage possible threats to market position. Build collaborative relationships and champion an open high trust work environment across all functional areas
