RES Job Coach, Supported Internships Various hours available on a casual basis (Temp) £8.72 per hour (plus holiday pay) Dearne Valley College, Manvers, Rotherham Rotherham Education Services supply the RNN Group with temporary workers. We are looking for flexible Bank Staff to be Job Coaches part of the Additional Learning Support team in Dearne Valley College. In this rewarding role, you will provide support to assist students with learning difficulties/disabilities, to help them achieve their best possible outcomes in a work setting. You will support students with travel to work placements and back, you will also support them in their work placements to help them build skills and gain confidence to enable them to get the maximum benefit from the placement experience. The right candidate should be able to encourage and motivate others and be able to recognise when and how to provide support, be able to problem solve and think outside the box to be able to offer alternative learning methods to suit the student’s needs. The ideal candidates will: Hold GCSE A-C in English & Maths or be prepared to work towards Hold experience supporting students in an educational setting Be flexible Good IT skills Transportation is essential We celebrate diversity and welcome applications from everyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, faith or disability.
