Electronic Engineering Lecturer Salary: up to £23,811 for unqualified | up to £34,917 per annum qualified, plus extensive benefits Eastleigh College, SO50 5FS Permanent - Full Time Are you an expert in Electronic Engineering? Are you a qualified lecturer or looking to become one? We’re looking for you We are looking for a passionate and driven Lecturer to join our brilliant college and teach students Electronic Engineering. This post will require lecturing on a range of units while also supporting students in their chosen career path within this discipline of engineering. The successful candidate should be able to cover the following: Electrical and Electronic principles including electronic devices, Electrical Machines, PLCs and Robotics, Health and Safety, Communication, Maths, Engineering projects and more. The successful candidate will need to: • Demonstrate superior understanding of Electronic Engineering • Engage students and be Inspirational • Find innovative ways of teaching where possible • Have good problem-solving skills • Be organised and have good attention to detail • Have fantastic written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation skills • Provide thorough feedback and also tutorial support to their students • Be a point of contact for student concerns / questions • Carry out general administrative tasks and undertake necessary training • Support and work closely with the other lecturers in the department • Have some experience leading a team Essential Qualifications / Experience: • Appropriate Qualification in the subject area to Degree Level • A Level or equivalent Level 3 qualification • Grade A-C GCSE English & Maths Qualification (or equivalent) • Industrial experience in the relevant sector • Teachers Certificate or Training Qualification, either obtained, in the process of completing or desire to complete.
