Role Purpose The key role of this job is to carry out the day to day duties of the team to strict timescales associated with Flood Risk Activity Permit determinations and compliance checking, and Town and Country Planning statutory consultations. The post holder will need to demonstrate good time and workload management skills together with an ability to work with key Natural Resources Wales and external stakeholders. Qualifications and Skills Educated to degree level in a science or engineering discipline Member of appropriate professional body (e.g. CIWEM or ICE) and working towards becoming chartered in the near future. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Understanding of flood risk mechanisms/sources of flooding and fluvial hydrology. Strong and effective self-management and organisational skills.
