Overview

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. Lead a combined team of Strategic Sourcing Managers and Sourcing Category Managers located in various countries in MELA Europe and globally, with responsibility to: a. efficiently source a wide range of BSS products, services, and solutions within the designated geography; b. set the strategic direction for categories within the Market Communications Category Group 2. Continuously develop the unit’s competence, capability, and efficiency 3. Manage the units’ performance to achieve the agreed Sourcing results 4. Build and integrate approved sourcing strategies, processes, and tools 5. Strenghten the company’s strong position by improving value from suppliers, proactively manage business risks and ensuring process compliance, and contribute to the creation of value for the company Customers. 6. Collaborate with Market Communications industry specialists and internal partners to improve service levels and reduce cost and spend. 7. Manage all commercial relationships with suppliers, including accountability for the purchase to pay process for BSS suppliers. 5-10 years of sourcing experience in Sourcing Marketing & Communications categories in a global arena 3-5 years of leadership experience and proven remote management skills Proven management skills in a multi-country, service focused environment Change & Improvement Management Skills Commercial and financial Acumen & Skills Positive, can-do attitude (a must have) Outstanding collaboration skills with proven ability to work cross-organization to accomplish shared goals Business-mind, consultative approach Analytical and fact-based decision making Self-motivation and pro-activeness Bachelor’s or Master's degree required, preferably in the field of business, finance, legal or management Deciding and initiating action Ability to deliver results & meet expectations Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking Coaching & Mentoring Skills Negotiation Skills Strategy Development and Execution knowledge & skills Proficient English Skills Leadership Competence
