Overview
This role, Assistant Accountant (temporary to permanent assignment), is an immediate start role to support the Finance team of a communication company in central London. Work will be done remotely for the time being but the company is normally located in central London. Applicants must be immediately available or on a maximum of one week's notice. Client Details Our client is a communication company whose workload is at an all-time high due to the current situation with plenty of companies working from home. Their applications allow remote working and are essential now more than ever, meaning their workload is higher on the application side as well as Finance. Description The key responsibilities in this role, Assistant Accountant (temporary to permanent assignment), will include: - Working from home - Managing the general ledger - Trial balance - Profit and loss - Budgeting and forecasting - Accruals - Prepayments - Reconciliations including balance sheets and banks - Managing multi-currency payments - Assisting the AP team - Accountancy and Financial Services backed - Based in the City of London - Start asap - Paid hourly Profile The successful candidate, Assistant Accountant (temporary to permanent assignment), for this role will: 1) have a stable CV with extensive transactional Finance experience 2) be immediately available or on a maximum of one week's notice Job Offer The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a communication company on a temporary to permanent basis and take on a wide variety of responsibilities.
