Area Sales Manager - Pallet Racking Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Pallet Racking Industry Sector: Pallet Racking, Shelving, Storage Equipment, Lockers, Shelving, Pick Towers, Mezzanine Floors, End Users, Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, End Users, Builders, Architects, Specifiers, Construction Companies, Automotive, Leisure, Education, Local Authorities Area to be covered: LN, NG, PE, NR, IP, CB, CO Remuneration: £35,000 - £38,000 £34,000 uncapped commission paid monthly Benefits: Passat / Volvo type company car and comprehensive benefits package The role of the Area Sales Manager - Pallet Racking will involve: Field sales position selling a range of pallet racking, storage equipment/units, lockers, shelving, cupboards and associated accessories Majority of your time will be spent selling directly to end users such as: logistics, manufacturing, distribution, construction companies, automotive industry, retailers, food & drink, healthcare and leisure A small portion of your time may involve selling / generating specification with architects and consultants and following it through to contractors Inheriting a territory achieving £1.1m and already hit target Dealing with order values ranging from £100-£80k with typical orders ranging from £5,000-£40k 60% of your time will be spent managing and expanding existing relationships 40% of your time will be spent generating new business relationships Working in conjunction with a very effective internal support group that will assist with generate leads and support the sales process Represent the company at trade shows, events and conduct company CPD presentations to clients Being aware of competitors products and activities including new products, strategies and marketing campaigns The ideal applicant will be a Area Sales Manager - Pallet Racking with: Must have a proven track record in field sales selling via a mixed end user route to market such as: logistics, manufacturing, distribution, construction companies, automotive industry, retailers, food & drink, healthcare and leisure Must be IT literate to a decent standard Ideally have sold shelving, lockers and pallet racking or associated products such as cubicles, cupboards, storage solutions/systems Ideally have experience generating specification and stimulating demands with local authorises, architects and contractors (not essential) Although a account management bias position must have a strong hunter mentality Strong negotiation experience and ability to deal with contractual procedures and responsibilities Excellent influencing and communication skills; well-spoken and personable; able to get on with diverse personalities Strong analytical, negotiating and decision making abilities Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs, Construction field sales vacancies and Specification field sales positions within: Pallet Racking, Shelving, Storage Equipment, Lockers, Shelving, Pick Towers, Mezzanine Floors, End Users, Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, End Users, Builders, Architects, Specifiers, Construction Companies, Automotive, Leisure, Education, Local Authorities
