Overview
We’re Mind, the mental health charity. We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect. We provide advice and support to empower anybody experiencing a mental health problem and we campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. The Community, Events & Fundraising Development team sits within the Public Fundraising Unit and raises approximately £13m gross income per year for Mind’s work, of which £5.5m is generated from events fundraising. Reporting to the Senior Events Fundraising officer, you will support the team to achieve net income targets, provide a fantastic experience for our event fundraisers and encourage repeat support by delivering excellent customer care across a wide range of event fundraising activities. You will be responsible for our contacting potential fundraisers via telephone calls, emails, letter and social media networks to confirm their events fundraising activity and process requests for information and materials. You will also be responsible for delivering communication plans for events fundraising participants including writing content for e-newsletters and mailings.
