Parkhouse Bell are supporting our client, a leading national employability provider to recruit for an Employment Advisor in Crawley. This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. Please note; despite the COVID-19 outbreak, the interview process for this role is continuing. However, this may be remotely held. As an Employment Advisor you will be responsible for supporting clients to address barriers they may to employment, by implementing tailored packages of support. You will act as a coach/mentor to clients, guiding, motivating and challenging them to obtain sustainable employment. Responsibilities will include: Manage a caseload of clients Undertake in-depth assessments with clients Obtain support from specialist local servies to address specific issues such as substance misuse, debt advice, health, etc Work with multiple agencies to develop holistic approaches to support clients Job-search and interview preparation support Source suitable job opportunities Co-produce effective in-work support plans with participants and employer The successful applicant will have effective questioning and coaching skills and have experience of working in a target driven environment. They will also hold a minimum GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths. This role would suit someone from a Customer Service, Sales and or Recruitment background who is used to working in a heavily targeted environment. In return you will be offered a starting salary of £25,000pa, rishing to £27,000pa upon successful completion of probation period plus benefits package.
