Business Development Executive Sheffield £30,000 , profit related bonus, 33 Days Holiday, Pension, Parking, Westfield Health, Xmas Shut Down You will be working with a manufacturing business that is a leader in their technology. A niche business with a turnover of 10 million looking to expand their success. The role will be joining an existing team of 3 who operate Globally, promoting the business products. This requires an individual who has previous experience of working within a sales focused business, with a demonstrable and proven track record of successfully achieving sales results. International travel will be involved for Exhibitions and customer relations approximately 6-8 weeks across the year. Main aspects of the role: Targeting specific customers in each territory Converting enquiries through to completion Identifying new business development opportunities Liasing with production on Lead times for specific customer information Develop reporting to analyse sales figures and maximise gap sales through gap analysis and cross selling The role involved 80% Account Management 20% New Business Development Work effectively both individually and as a member of the Business Development Team, contributing to the supporting culture of the business Assist with all aspects of campaigns, including mailshots, promotions, gifts and events to enhance the awareness of the business and products Experience/Skills Demonstrable record of working within a sales focused role Technical sales experience would be a distinct advantage although not essential Experience of reporting on a timely and accurate basis both externally and internally Ability to work as a key member of the team to achieve company expectations Excellent customer presentation skills and confident communicator Exceptional influencing and negotiating skills Excellent organisational skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritise activities Innovative and proactive with a problem-solving approach Enthusiasm and self-motivation, with a desire to succeed Ability to work under own initiative and independently with minimal supervision Sales Support is a specialist division here at Venatu Recruitment Group.
