Overview
Who You'll Be Working With My client are a web design and build boutique in Central London who have carved out a great space working with financial services clients. They have an unparalleled set of clients, a growing and enthusiastic team and a lot of ambition with offices in New York, London and Poland. The business is still very much founder run and you'll be working closely with the founder, client services director and ops director on a day to day basis along with other project managers both in London and overseas. What You'll Be Doing The role itself is very much that of a digital project manager. You'll be working from end to end, supporting the client services team in taking requirements from clients, scoping out the work in terms of resource, timelines and budgets, working closely with the development team and project coordinators to drive work through the design and discovery, development and the UAT phases. Workload wise, you'll be working on four or five projects at a time but you'll be glad to know that all PMs in the team get a sprint point allowance to make sure you aren't being overstretched. Work is predominantly delivered in Wordpress and you'll be running sprint based / agile configuration and development releases. You We're looking for an experienced project manager who can hit the ground running and be a real self starter. You'll have plenty of support around you but we want a candidate who can seize the initiative and self manage to an extent. The agency have recently gone through agile transformation so a good grasp of agile methodology would be a real asset but some of their clients do utilise waterfall / Kanban so it isn't an absolute must. As always the key thing here is having a strong core project management skill set: being well organised, comfortable scoping out work with clients, delivery focussed and highly adaptable.
