Overview
RAISINI, a 20 Year old global Creative, Entertainment & Marketing Agency and Dubai's 1st House Record Label, is launching a Lifestyle Membership App Havn [Heaven] disrupting the Lifestyle industry, and make life a lot easier for individuals saving them TIME & MONEY. We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Operations Manager to join the team of our startup Havn Ltd, in building one of the most innovative Tech Startups in Hospitality/Lifestyle. Ideally you would have a background in startups, internet company, Mobile Apps with a specialty in Operations but open to individuals who has the guts to take on such a challenge and is hungry to build a company from scratch and take it public. - You have a strong track record of being involved or building successful start-ups from the ground-up and fundraising. - You have strong organisational and quantitative skills and are confident in the art of raising capital and you have your own little 'Blackbook'. - You have connections with VC's, Private or Angel Investors is a plus Responsibilities Manage the growth and success of the team Coordinate activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements Responsible for the production, procurement, and planning of daily operations Communicate with all relevant employees to ensure delivery times are met Plan, schedule, and review workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost effective basis Creates a detailed schedule based on strict deadlines Make sure the working environment maintains access to quality equipment Provide guidance to employees Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline employees Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions Plan and review compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed Meet or exceed operations labor budget expectations Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues Responsible for all department managers and supervisors, with review/approval responsibility for all operations employees Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to customer service, or any other customer related issues. Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints Work closely with CEO and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation.
