Overview
Effervescent agency based in South London (London Bridge) is looking for a super strong Design Director to fulfil a key role in the business and deliver some outstanding creative work for their clients. Working along-side the Creative Director and Head of Copy this person will be responsible for overseeing and contributing to the output of all creative projects, ensuring that clients objectives are continuously met in a visually effective and engaging way. With some successful pitch wins under their belt already this year, it’s an exciting time to join this agency as they take their business to the next level of growth. Specialising in retail brand communications work, the agency is delivering intelligent, creative and commercial customer focused design solutions for a growing roster of clients. As such, they are looking to bring an established senior in to the business who has significant experience in brand development, strategy, retail language and communications. The role would suit a responsible and team focused leader, confident managing multiple projects, who can ensure that client requirements are continuously and consistently being met and exceeded through highly creative concepts with a strong commercial impact. You will play a key role in the agency, leading brainstorming sessions with the creative team, assigning new projects within the team and conducting regular creative feedback. You will also be supporting the Creative Director in identifying business opportunities and overseeing pitches for new business as well as participating in key client meetings and presentations. Our ideal candidate: A results-driven individual with a focus on design craft and maintaining the creative standards of the studio. Significant retail experience and expert in delivering customer focused communications, particularly at in-store level. Previous design team management experience. Outstanding communication skills with a natural flair for presenting the creative work in a clear, engaging and persuasive manner.
