Overview

Field Sales Executive opportunity The company is a highly successful, privately owned plastic packaging company that is characterized by a high level of investment in injection moulding, injection blow moulding and blow moulding processes with automated systems, which enable it to produce the highest quality plastic packaging products for technically demanding markets. We are seeking to appoint an extremely driven and experienced Field Sales Executive to join our team. With proven experience of Sales and excellent market knowledge, the successful applicant will focus on generating new business mainly in the E-Liquids and Cosmetic packaging manufacturing markets. The successful applicant will develop new business opportunities through leads and prospecting new customers. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to handle the entire spectrum of the sales cycle including account management, new business development, quality and service, negotiation, credit management and resolution of issues. They must be able to work conscientiously on their own and be willing to travel to win new business and manage their accounts. They are looking for the role to be based in the Lancashire / Greater Manchester / Midlands areas as there is a large customer base there. The role will be home-based aside from customer site visits, appointments, business meetings and attending exhibitions or events. The duties of the Field Sales Executive position will include generating maximum sales through achievement of company KPIs, creating awareness of the business' process, product and capabilities, develop new customer relations, win business contracts, sell company innovations, liaise with project engineers and other internal staff, account manage, attend site visits and demonstrate product trials, maintain accurate records, attend business exhibitions and events, set up enquiries and perform basic calculations. The ideal candidate will have a full UK driver license and access to their own vehicle due to the travel to customer sites that is required of the role. There will also be the requirement to travel to the company's head office in Durham, North East England once per quarter (every 3 months) to attend the quarterly meetings.
