Fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Merchandiser keen to develop their career in online retail Client Details My client is a well-established retailer with a rapidly growing online business, based on the outskirts of North London. Description The successful Assistant Merchandiser will be responsible for the following: Planning part of the range with the Merchandiser and contributing to the department strategy Assisting in the production of range plans, providing detailed analysis for range review and selection Reviewing seasonal trading to include sales, forecasts, estimates, intake projections and markdowns Using forecasts and weekly performance reports to assess KPI's and to raise issues with the Merchandiser Reviewing style (catalogue no) performance to ensure sales are maximised and mark-down minimised Managing and follow up all merchandising administration systems and procedures to ensure product availability and delivery Managing the maintenance of contracts in line with the Buying Teams plans to provide accurate updates to Call Centre, Logistics and Distribution Managing delivery and shipment deadlines, identifying and mitigating risk to ensure accurate intake of stock according to plan levels, provide weekly updates on map/intake issues Profile The successful Assistant Merchandiser will: Have enthusiasm, tenacity and be a proactive individual Possess highly developed analytical and numerical skills Have excellent PC skills, with experience of working with Financial/Analytical tools Come with proven influencing skills Have a high attention to detail Job Offer The role will pay a competitive salary and a great range of benefits, along with unrivalled training and the opportunity to work with industry experts.
