Overview

Job Summary As the regional sales director you will be responsible for growing the sales through leading a sales team. You will also maintain strong relationships with large, complex and important partners. You will develop account strategies and plans, manage sales pipelines and performance against sales targets. You will co-ordinate the involvement of executive stakeholders, sales, marketing, customer, operations, claims and underwriting colleagues and facilitating their engagement with the relevant people in the intermediary organisation. Responsibilities Your main goal is to grow long term profitable business by managing sales and broker performance for your region. Lead the planning and winning of major strategic development opportunities with your region and assigned intermediaries You will influence your intermediary accounts at the highest level and, therefore, create a pipeline of ongoing renewal and new business opportunities. Develop, agree and maintain account strategies and plan for each allocated intermediary to achieve sales strategy and targets. Actively coach, develop less experienced colleagues to ensure delivery of the required standards of excellence in sales performance. Support regional sales teams and provide leadership/direction for strategic accounts Decision making Allocation & achievement of annual sales targets Sales & broker performance for strategic intermediary and UK sales region. Management of distribution and broker segmentation for region. Role includes responsibility for the direct management for sales teams for the allocated region.
