Bids and Grants Manager

Prospectus ,
London, Greater London
Salary: £36000.00 - £40000.00 per annum

Overview

Prospectus is excited to be working with the St Giles Trust as they recruit a Bids and Grants Manager. St Giles Trust helps disadvantaged people build a better future for themselves through support, advice and training. This is an opportunity to work within the fundraising team and lead on bids for statutory funding to support the invaluable work that they do. This full time, permanent position is based between their offices in North and South London. This is a 35 hours a week role with two or three days in the office and the rest working from home. In this role you will work closely with the Senior Management Team to coordinate the development of high quality, winning proposals at a five figure plus level. This role is a supportive one, meaning you may not lead on all proposals but will plan and chair proposal development meetings, ensure concepts are robust, steer decision making, lead on the project management of bids and write/edit sections (or whole proposals) ready for submission. You will be a conduit between service delivery, fundraising, and senior management and therefore the organisation is looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have extensive experience leading, managing, and writing winning statutory proposals at a six figure level. The St Giles Trust is accepting CVs and supporting statements on a rolling basis. First stage interviews will take place over video conferencing with a view to the successful candidate being in the post by mid-April. At Prospectus we invest in your journey as a candidate and are committed to supporting you in your application. In order to apply please submit your CV in the first instance and begin to prepare your supporting statement. Should your experience be suitable, we will send you the full job description and will arrange for a call and/or meeting to brief you on the role. You'll then have all the information you need to formally apply. We are looking forward to speaking with you soon.
