Overview
Want to work on a leading project within the UK as a BIDS administrator? A large sub contractor in the UK are looking to expand their work winning team and are looking for a Bid Writer to contribute and oversee the written element of proposals for some of the UK's largest infrastructure and rail projects. They are looking for someone to lead the Bids team in helping to coordinate all incoming tenders and how to present the end Bids. This role is working for a sub contractor in which they do frames, demolition and groundworks, so you will be working on all the tendering processes of projects. They need someone with sub contractor experience and a key understanding with pre tendering process. Within the pre tendering processes, someone needs to understand: TTRO applications, TOMs, TMAN, and TM Drawings. This role is based in Star Lane. It is a perm role paying £30,000 to £35,000. This is a permanent position with fantastic career progression. The right candidate MUST have sub contractor and Bids experience. Why work for this company? Working for a leading large sub contractor Chance to be part of a industry leading team Being able to work with a market leader within groundworks Gaining key experience in the market to propel a career Bidding for the biggest infrastructure projects in the UK Being part of building Britain's history Bid Author Role and Responsibilities: Converting existing client intelligence into compelling win themes with the wider team Developing writing strategies for proposals Leading a team of authors and subject matter experts for specific proposals, providing coaching as necessary Dealing with TTRO permits Understanding what permits need to be requested Understanding how to use TOMs Submit permit application Reconciling any issues with permits Storyboarding and writing of technical and managerial proposal responses to a high standard Reviewing of proposals Present there company and bids in the best possible perspective Bid Author Candidate Requirements: Strong track record within Bid Writing on major projects (£15m) within the Construction, Engineering, Consultancy or Technology sectors Proven ability to write concise written bid responses based on highly technical information Analytical and critical thinking Relationship management with ability to motivate teams, facilitate workshops, and collaborate with technical and senior managers Appreciation of layout and graphics: knowledge of InDesign is advantageous APMP Foundation Certification or strong understanding of proposal best practice e.g. Shipley Sound like your DREAM JOB?
