There are two sides to Digital Audit: Digital Auditing You’ll be using our latest tools to help digitise the way we deliver audits through automation, AI, data analytics and innovation. As well as using PwC developed tools and industry leading software to audit our clients. Auditing Digital You’ll be auditing our client’s technology to give them assurance that security and controls are in place. This includes infrastructure, Cloud, and applications. You’ll gain an understanding of end to end processes and how business applications are utilised, controlled and optimised. Digital Audit will give you a unique opportunity to experience all aspects of the audit from finance to technology. You'll develop a strong understanding of the role that digital plays in the modern day audit and how new technologies are deployed and controlled within business. In practice, you'll understand and test IT systems and controls, deliver technology enabled audit including the latest on advanced analytics, process control and automation and the use of innovative tools. What you’ll doIn Digital Audit you'll spend time working on the financial side of the audit, and focussing on the IT systems and controls. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, industries and technologies. You’ll need to be a people person, tenacious and resilient. You’ll have exposure to contacts such as financial controllers, heads of IT or finance directors to understand and test IT systems and controls. You’ll be checking IT systems to ensure they are appropriately controlled by management and to check that data produced is accurate, highlighting and questioning any differences. It's investigative work where you’ll regularly speak with clients, using in-person meetings or leading-edge collaborative technology. You’ll be part of a variety of teams, taking real responsibility for the work you do. Above all, your work is client focused, which can mean travelling to client sites and will involve working to deadlines. This often requires working longer hours to meet the needs of the client. It's hard work, but rewarding. ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above Training, coaching and leading junior staff Establishing effective working relationships directly with clients Contributing to the development of your own and team's technical acumen Keeping up to date with local and national business and economic issues Continuing to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand Requirements University degree Experience in evaluating technology that supports financial & operational application systems and related business processes Experience in auditing IT systems Experience in managing junior colleagues and an interest in developing others Experience in working in complex environments with large organisations Strong time management skills, including flexibility to work with shifting priorities and client needs Project management and analytical skills Client relationship-building and management skills Strong verbal, presentation and report writing skills Leadership qualities Desirable skills Computer Science or Accounting & Business Administration degree, or similar ACA and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification, or equivalent External auditing experience, including evaluating controls over financial and/or operational processes Location: London Salary: Competitive Role closing date: 30th March, 2020 Audit The passion of our people, combined with access to the latest technology, helps us deliver the highest quality audits and build trust in society.
