Overview
Sales & Marketing Manager. Gericke RotaVal - Rotary Valves & Diverters. Based in Chippenham (with travel). Competitive Salary. An excellent opportunity to lead on Sales, Business Development and Marketing for an established manufacturer of high quality components for the bulk materials handling equipment sector. Established in 1970 and part of the Gericke Group, RotaVal manufactures rotary valves, diverters and other ancillary components for equipment and system OEMs in bulk handling for a wide range of sectors (food, pharmaceuticals, aggregates, etc). With a strong reputation for quality and reliability, the company operates from its specialist manufacturing facility in Chippenham, Wiltshire. Reporting to the General Manager, the role will include: Working with the GM to create a sales strategy and annual sales plan. Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential new customers. Negotiating the sales terms with the customer - product specification, price, delivery. Developing distribution channels worldwide, managing the agency and distribution network. Leading, managing and developing the small sales team. Key attributes and experiences are likely to include: Proven track record in sales, with the ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships. Background in the sale of technical manufactured products/components for the process equipment sector - eg valves, pumps, mixers, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, etc. Entrepreneurial - the ability to identify and bring to fruition opportunities for sales. Results driven, but with a strong appreciation of customer satisfaction. Ideally with experience of working through agents and distributors.
