Sales Executive / Sales Manager - Commercial Services to the Building / Construction Sector Ref: 12,763 c£30,000 Basic, OTE £40,000 Fully expensed Co Car and full benefits & career opportunities Overview: In this position you will be working in a Sales and team environment where you will be encouraged to fulfil and exceed your targets and demonstrate skills in all aspects of the role, including account management, pro-actively generating new sales opportunities, following-up leads and establishing and managing new and existing relationships. This role will be both External Sales and some Internal Sales and will cover sales to customers throughout England and Wales … you will probably be in the local office once or twice a week though this may increase as managerial responsibilities develop with the role - It is likely that the this role will grow and mean the management of a small internal sales team in the future. The role: Generating sales with established and new customers particularly in the Construction and building market sector throughout the Wales and England though there is an emphasis in the South West and South Wales Region. Establishing contact and meeting key decision-makers within new customers, discussing with them their needs and delivering sales of the range of services our client has to offer. Making a good quality field visits and business calls to develop new Sales, expand and develop current relationships and make repeat sales. Meet and discuss and close business with customers throughout England and Wales. Extending and refining the company’s database. Building a professional "pipeline" of business and business opportunities. Develop excellent relationships with a range of decision makers including senior and director level staff and buyers within a range of clients including quality "blue chips". Following-up of all industry specific marketing campaigns Person Specification: At least 2 years business to business sales experience. Ideally a track record in Sales in the Construction or Building sector or to the Industrial market. The ability to sell to and work with a variety of "premiership" and "blue chip" clients as well customers in the SME sector Whilst this role will be dealing mainly with existing customers there will be some new business generation and cold calling involved with this role. First class presentation and face to face sales skills Confidence in front of customers and an excellent telephone manner. Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. A good standard of literacy and numeracy. Ability to work within a team.
