Job Title: Assistant Director of Technology & Data Location: London, Sheffield or Edinburgh Salary: £75k Shelter exists to defend the right to a safe home. Every year, we help defend the rights of millions struggling with bad housing or homelessness through our advice, support, and legal services. And we campaign to make sure that, one day, a safe home will be a reality for everyone. The Assistant Director of Technology & Data is a senior position within Shelter&39;s Strategic and Operational Leadership Team. Working closely with the Senior Executive Team, peers and other stakeholders, you will serve as innovator, leading the transformation of the information technology department, providing strategic leadership and oversight of technology-related policies, initiatives and data projects, ensuring optimization of performance and delivery of Shelter&39;s strategy. We are looking for someone with an excellent understanding of technology solutions, with a successful track record of developing and implementing IT systems and infrastructure whilst motivating and empowering geographically and culturally dispersed teams. Critically you will have strong influencing and negotiation skills and offer the personal credibility to engage with a wide spectrum of stakeholders around the technology and data agenda. You will enjoy cultivating positive relationships working across the whole organisation having substantial input to high level decision making. Offering commercial acumen you will demonstrate a personal commitment to ensure Shelter achieves its purpose.
