YOUR CAREER : This German manufacturer have an excellent name for themselves in the market and are looking to add to their successful sales team. This is an excellent opportunity to break into the life sciences sector in a sales capacity and develop your commercial understanding of the market. Full product training will be given, along with mentoring and full managerial support throughout. This territory has bags of potential to grow and opportunities to earn as your career develops are plentiful. THE ROLE: In this role, you will be selling a portfolio of laboratory instruments and consumables- including lab storage equipment, cell and tissue culture slides, liquid handling pipettes and centrifuge tubes. You will play an important role in the Life Sciences division- promoting these products to many existing accounts, but with plenty of new business opportunities too. Key customers are across NHS pathology labs, universities, research groups and biotech companies. You will be speaking to procurement and laboratory managers- so you must understand the importance of a commercial sales cycle. THE PERSON: To be considered for this Sales Account Manager role, you will ideally have some b2b sales experience and a passion for this industry. Those who have b2c sales experience but are well researched and motivated into moving into this industry will also be considered. Candidates with a scientific background and laboratory experience are encouraged to apply- but must be confident at working within a sales capacity.
