Outbound Sales Executive

Please note due to the current situation with COVID-19 there may be a delay in the recruitment process for this role A well-established electrical company based in Watford are looking to expand their sales team in order to grow the company and increase its turnover in the next 5 years. You will be joining a new team within a busy and fast paced telephone sales role where you will be looking after an existing customer base to begin with and trying to build relationships and increase sales. There is scope for this role to progress in the future. This is an excellent opportunity for a genuinely committed, hardworking and confident team player to make their mark. You must have an excellent telephone manner, natural ability to sell & be target driven. Key responsibilities: High volume of outbound calls required on a daily basis Proactively seek out new opportunities Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all activities through CRM Meet and exceed individual KPI targets set Handling enquiries via telephone, advising on product lines and upselling Developing strategies for increasing existing business, new business and lapsed accounts Reactively handling incoming phone calls What the employer is looking for: Proven track record in telephone sales Confident working with key performance indicators Self-motivated, competitive with a passion for sales Confident & professional telephone manner Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and comfortable with using IT systems Previous experience of electrical products or experience gained within an industrial supplies environment would be advantageous but not a prerequisite First class customer service skills and a proactive, helpful approach is essential Strong people skills and the ability to easily build rapport and business relationships with customers.
