Then join us as a Service Manager. Right now, we’re looking for someone like you to manage our Community Based Service in Leicester. Based in Leicester City our Life Links service provides a number of different support networks allowing people to choose how they receive support dependent on personal needs including an information line. In this vital front line management role, you will be working alongside another Service Manager, taking responsibility for everything from the day-to-day management of service contracts and staff, through to client support and building maintenance. We’ll also rely on you to develop a service/location training and development plan and look after the service’s budget. Managing all aspects of risk will be important too, as will ensuring data entry onto our MI and reporting systems is accurate and timely. In short, you’ll do everything you can to make sure the quality of the service we provide is nothing less than exceptional. To succeed, you’ll need significant knowledge and experience of working in mental health and undertaking risk assessments. You will be solution focused and outcome driven, with a firm but inclusive, open and encouraging management style, lots of tact and diplomacy and the ability to lead by example. We’ll also be looking for a flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to participate in an on call rota. Adept at managing conflicting demands and priorities, motivating staff and delegating work also comes naturally to you. This is a full-time, permanent post available at 37.5 hours per week.
