Otis are looking for a talented and driven individual to manage and optimize the design and implementation of our service parts ordering processes. You will facilitate a culture of continuous improvement to assist the Service Operations team achieve Service spend and Repairs margin targets. This new and exciting role will be based out of our Leicester site and will report directly to the Service Field Operations Division Director. As Service Parts Manager, you will: + Optimize parts processes to achieve long term time and cost saving solutions + Lead and motivate a team of c8-10 Parts Administrators + Identify improvement opportunities to expedite the sourcing and ordering of parts + Monitor supplier performance, analyse market opportunities and work in partnership with Purchasing to identify the best suppliers + Work closely with the Field teams to establish trends and repeat issues + Support the Service Transformation team to facilitate a culture of change enablement to help drive initiatives To be successful in this role you will possess the following: + Experience working within a quality improvement process environment, ideally with a working knowledge of Procurement/ Purchasing/ Supply Chain + A successful background managing teams + An analytical mind as well as an agile approach + A highly collaborative nature and the ability to work in a matrix environment + Advanced communication skills to drive results in others + Strong administrative and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects, programs and objectives What can we offer you? + The chance to work for an industry leading company and a global brand + The opportunity to work in a key, visible role which is critical to the success of the organization + Ownership of delivery and autonomy to develop and execute processes + Competitive salary package and additional benefits More about us: Otis is the world leader in reliable, efficient and technologically advanced elevators, escalators and people-moving systems.
