Designing and installing kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms in the Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire area, Newrooms has experience in design and build that ensures they can meet and exceed their customers' expectations. Based in Methwold, Norfolk, the business is now in its 11th year of trading and is ready to welcome a new recruit into their Design team. This an exciting opportunity to join a successful, well-established and ever expanding independent business within a close-knit team where each and every member of staff have worked hard to build their outstanding reputation across East Anglia. Specialising in providing a professional and highly attentive service throughout the entirety of our projects, the Newrooms team pride themselves on working from scratch with their customers to achieve their beautiful dream 'new rooms’ with each and every little detail being carefully considered. As their relationship-building, product knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail has been key to their success, their ideal recruit will be a confident, enthusiastic Designer who shares their passion for creating inspiring designs that meet (and exceed) the customers’ requirements. You’ll be a hard-working, dedicated professional who has a calm and methodical yet pro-active approach to everything you do inside the business and the work ethic and assertiveness needed to make the role a success. Previous experience within the industry is preferred (unless you have a background in a very similar area, with transferable skills - we’d still love to hear from you) as is a sound understanding of industry specific software and excellent organisational capabilities, numerical, written and verbal communication skills. The team have always measured their success, not only by their reputation, but also by the continually growing number of referrals and repeat business they receive, which is something the new recruit will be counted on to continue and increase alongside them. This role is offered with a competitive salary (not commission based) and the satisfaction of seeing your completed designs come to life as well as delivering excellent customer service. Full or part time hours are on offer; this is negotiable for the right candidate. Please note that access to a car and full driving licence is essential.
