About Yearbook Machine Yearbook Machine is a creative technology and product design company. Our product is an automated online system that allows groups of people (mainly schools and universities) to collaborate to create printed memory books – see https://yearbook.com . Founded at Cambridge University in 2008, we are now one of the world’s leading suppliers of specialist memory book software. We are a small, friendly team working in our own offices in a pretty part of Islington, London, just north of Old Street Roundabout. Our working environment is relaxed and we provide free weekly team lunches. About the role We’re just entering our busiest period of the year, and during the next few months we will create yearbooks for hundreds of schools and other groups around the world. We are looking to hire a Design Production Assistant to help us with the production of designs for our customers. This role is about co-ordinating our internal production process, to make sure that customers are sent proofs of their yearbooks and that final print files are sent to our printers. The role is computer-based, and involves operating our custom in-house software as well as the Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. We do not require you to already know how to use this software, as we will teach you everything you need to know. But we are looking for someone who is a quick learner, with an eye for detail and good organisation.
