Overview
We’re recruiting on behalf of a spirited and well-loved interiors brand who are at an exciting stage of growth and looking for an experienced Digital Designer to help them craft one of the most beautiful and effective websites in their sector. This is a super-exciting time to be joining a one-of-a-kind brand that’s growing at a rate of knots and has a sharp eye on its creative output. Working with a newly appointed Head of Creative and a small but collaborative team, this is a great opportunity to take a lead role on all digital projects from concept and design stages through to delivery and launch. The ambition is to move towards more emotional, story-telling creative executions that naturally evolve the look and feel of the brand and the overall customer experience. We’re looking for someone who is going to be confident stepping into a role that carries a good level of responsibility and influence across all digital output. You’ll be a constant source of inspiration by bringing new ideas and concepts to every project and should be comfortable advising on best practice, keeping abreast of new developments and trends in digital design and sharing these with your team. Ultimately this person will be responsible for designing visually stunning, functional and intuitive digital experiences that connect with customers all year round. Our ideal candidate: Will be an established Digital Designer and key driver of creative excellence, confident taking ownership of and responsibility for the delivery of key projects. Will have a portfolio packed with strong conceptual ideas, fresh layout designs and digital assets. A strong understanding of responsive design, UX best practice and technical capabilities/limitations to enhance collaboration with developers and the overall process. Hands on the design tools (adobe Creative Suite) as well as some experience with and exposure to Sketch. Outstanding communication skills underpinned by a strong ability to connect with and influence people across different areas of the business.
