Are you comfortable managing a base of Accounts worth up to £2m? Do you want to work for one the biggest and most well-respected companies globally? This is a business you will want to have on your CV. You will manage a base of around 300 - 400 key customer relationships, the focus being on retention and developing new business opportunities from an existing base of clients. There will be some elements of new business and this will be done through inbound leads and some cold calling. You will be accountable for nurturing and growing existing client relationships developing relationships with key contacts. This position is around 70% Account Management / 30% New Business. The role has a high profile within the business and success will open significant opportunities within the business as well as ensuring development on an individual basis. The role is therefore best suited to highly motivated individuals who are ambitious for personal success. You will need to be a strategic thinker with a strong commercial outlook and the ability to be proactive in your approach to the position. You will receive industry leading training from day one and a clear route for progression outlined from the start. Their central London office is modern, young and exciting. They have over 3000 employees in the UK alone and over 40,000 globally. Ideally you will have a background selling technology, SaaS, Information or any other professional B2B sales background. The key is that you are credible and professional. Ideally a background selling on a subscription basis would be highly beneficial. Responsibilities: Internal Sales Renew, cross and up-sell across an existing client base to achieve and exceed sales targets. Generate new business relationships Have regular account management calls with clients, a minimum of quarterly touch-points. Plan and prioritise sales activities and customer contact towards achieving agreed business goals Plan and manage personal business portfolio & territory according to an agreed market development strategy Manage and own a sales pipeline of new business which consistently delivers above expectation results Maintain and develop existing customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant feedback Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the sales process Attend and present at internal meetings with other company functions Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills Conduct oneself in a highly professional and ethical manner, adopting behaviours that enhance the reputation of the company Demonstrate online and software products and successfully manage trials to sale Experience: Internal Sales Results orientated and focus on achieving targets and objectives Highly motivated and self confident in approach to role Strong influencing skills with proven negotiating abilities Effective time management skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise according to the overall plan Strong people skills and understanding what motivates people Strong information, fact finding and questioning abilities Good networking & relationship building abilities Proven reporting and account planning abilities Business Development, New Business, Account Management, Sales Executive, Account Executive, Sales Consultant, Financial, Banks, Banking, Internal Sales
