Overview
My client, a well known venue in Bristol is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their team. A pro-active field-based sales role responsible for driving new MICE business for the venue. This role is tasked with building the venue profile in local, regional and national markets by creating and executing an exceptional new business sales strategy. The role requires an entrepreneurial personality with the drive to succeed and the ability to maximize the meetings and events revenue potential in the venue. A self-motivated individual with a strong desire to work within a sales environment and must be a highly motivated pro-active self-starter, with commitment and drive for business development and a knack for relationship building. You will work closely with the venue sales team and responsible for developing strategic, lapsed accounts and researching new business opportunities. A very good knowledge of the Bristol and surrounding market is essential. The candidate must have worked in a Business Development role for a minimum of 2 years in the MICE industry. The success of this role is measured by the achievement of set KPIs and revenue targets.
