Job Description As the successful Area Specification Manager, you will be responsible for delivering sales growth and profitability targets specifically with architects for your designated territory. You will be expected to deliver financial growth targets in line with business forecasts, along with providing key market feedback based on competitor analysis and service provision. The successful Area Specification Manager will aim to create and manage multiple projects through to main contractor stage by making appointments weekly and delivering CPD presentations. Person Specification You will have a proven track record in the construction sector dealing with architects and contractors on a frequent basis and able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the various product offerings within the market. The Area Specification Manager will have a high level of commercial awareness and will be able to deliver tangible evidence of sector knowledge and sales achievement, you will have experience of selling building materials such as flooring, wall coverings, aggregates, fit out, glazing, kitchens, bathrooms, cladding, insulation, walls, floors, acoustic products, glazing, heating, ventilation, bms or even building envelope solutions to name a few. You will have excellent planning and organisational skills and display excellent conflict resolution skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure. You must thrive in a sales and customer facing role and possess excellent IT and budgeting skills.
