Overview
We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. The Managing Director will be responsible for successful leadership of pharmaceutical production across quality, finance, HR, Engineering and Supply Chain. Being an inspirational leader you will ensure that all product is made to meet regulatory requirements and is manufactured on-time in full via your leadership team and staff. You will be a strategic leader capable of devising and implementing a strong business plan taking the business forward in this new phase. The Managing Director will have full P&L responsibility for the operation and work with commercial functions and R&D to bring new concepts and products to market. You will ensure the highest level of HSE on site and drive the highest standards across all functions. The successful candidate must be from pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and have a proven track record at Managing Director or Operations Director level. You will have a degree in science or engineering and a post graduate qualification in business management. You will have an operational background vs sales and have a strong understanding of a variety of pharmaceutical production techniques. The Managing Director will be an inspirational leader with a strong background in change management and profit and loss account management.
