Overview

Background: Established in 2018, Canna Creations is a white label CBD manufacturer and brand owner of Green Stem CBD. Green Stem is one of the most awarded CBD brands in the UK with 10 awards to their name, including Best CBD Oil (won on three separate occasions) and are listed with some of the UK’s most respected retailers. Products include CBD Oils (tinctures), CBD Vape Liquids, Cosmetics, Edibles and more. Due to expansion and ambitious plans, Canna creations is looking to recruit a Sales Manager to spearhead the next phase of growth within the business to Health & Wellbeing retailers, Pharmaceutical retailers, Beauty industry etc. Responsible to: Sales and Marketing Director. This role will also work closely with the CEO, the Director (Canna Creations) and our Head of Marketing, Brands and PR. Candidates must have experience of managing a sales function in health and wellbeing retailers, pharmaceutical retailers or the beauty industry Summary: To create, oversee and drive the implementation of the strategic sales plans to generate new commercial leads and opportunities. Line manage a small team. This is an office-based role, with a requirement to attend trade shows (both UK and International). The ideal candidate will live within a commutable distance of our Head Office, based just outside Guildford. Principle Responsibilities Line manage and take full accountability for ensuring that the team exceeds all P&L targets Develop and execute an integrated commercial strategy to ensure revenue growth Consolidate customer experience improvement requirements and opportunities developing and implementing agreed improvement plans Contribute to the framework of customer offerings within the key categories ensuring development and maximisation of opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling Analyse, review, recommend and build strategic and tactical changes to drive business profitability across this division Develop and lead the optimal sales strategy that will allow to meet the sales targets using market, product, and competitor data analysis Plan, coordinate and lead the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets Demonstrate strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritise, and articulate highest impact initiatives Ensure that the brand proposition is adhered to throughout all consumer facing activity and be an internal brand ambassador to ensure a consistent approach Process Management: Set the monthly, weekly, daily targets for the team and ensure that the team targets are achieved to enable development of a high performing team Determine key business development KPIs Maximise customer retention and enhance brand awareness Drive sales and revenue streams into the business Maintain product knowledge to ensure information is up to date Maintain sales records and follow up action for each account Present at external meetings to drive business development Attend sales meeting as required Attend 1-1 meetings with line manager Deliver to set KPIs and targets Customer Management: Develop and maintain relationships with accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service Develop and maintain exceptional consultative relationships with existing clients and prospects Take control of inbound lead flow and create own lines of business Create and maintain a leads database of relevant customers Manage full pipeline activity and deliver accurate sales forecasts Research market trends and competitor brands in order to come up with ideas to take to existing clients, to support their ongoing client development plan Attend corporate events to network and win new business, which may include weekend working to be paid at the appropriate rate
