Overview

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. Support the Head of Reservation to lead the strategic direction of the newly formed Reservation Department and ensure that the story and approach connect all the way through activation Support & develop your highly motivated team with clear roles, stretching goals, and engaging career paths. Establishing the right KPIs for your team across the different disciplines within Reservation-mapping skillsets across the team appropriately. Demonstrate an inclusive leadership style, able to lead from the front with clear instructions and direction, but always approachable and ready to listen to the floor Leading the investment process for your clients, ensuring a sharp and highly efficient approach and mentality to take charge of value, quality, PRF and audit delivery. You will have a granular understanding of your client guarantees and malus clauses, working in the most efficient manner to deliver these. Clear & knowledgeable media thinking that inspires innovative & effective work Accountable and a decision maker across broadcaster content, Cinema, addressable TV, display video, TrueView, social video and audio Being an energetic, pioneering, and honest person who leads by example Have a detailed understanding and opinion of how Reservation, Platform & Social Integrates Whilst you can no longer be involved in every detail day to day, comprehensive and continued awareness of your team’s service and quality levels is imperative, avoiding any surprises for clients at the post campaign or audit stage. You will have a clear idea when you need to get involved across your team, whilst carefully balancing client and commercial priorities. Strong ability to work very efficiently and under pressure, knowing the fine line when it comes to potentially excessive output Ability to handle very complex situations with an innovative solution Complete understanding of measurement for all channels Thorough understanding of data partners and how they integrate into addressable video activation Strong business skills and the ability to challenge the status quo Commercially minded with a very thorough understanding of agency and GroupM deals and commercials, enabling you to delicately join the dots between investment, strategy and activation. Deep understanding of your client PRFs/guarantees, always knowing your current position and any contractual bonus/malice schemes through working very closely with the Reservation Account Directors and the EMEA Accountability Director. Strong relationship with external auditors and a deep understanding and ability to deliver this process with excellent competency from start to finish, in conjunction with the EMEA Accountability Director. Overall responsibility for continued 100% accuracy of book numbers across the full year, with clear structured process and understanding of its critical importance throughout your entire team Leadership of value and quality delivery for your clients and the wider team, enabling maximum efficiency to deliver an optimal agency position, delicately balanced across our varying portfolio requirements. Ownership of finance and billing process, ensuring your team bills 100% of invoices on time and any queries are prioritised and dealt with urgently and effectively through continuous communication. A proven track record in managing senior external and internal relationships Strong leadership skills High competency to contribute thought leadership in pitches as well as being a confident presenter Strong connections across the entire agency with an ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across m/SIX and The & Partnership Show gravitas in the role and be an authoritative voice of expertise within the agency Effective delegation across your team Hold the room in any meeting and command respect from your peers Meticulous management of GroupM relationship and processes through high visibility, very strong communication and respect regarding deadlines and workload Continued monitoring of your team’s career progress, ensuring clear, measurable and detailed objectives are set and updated every 6 months with detailed feedback provided. Ensuring delegation of objective setting throughout the team from the Reservation Account Director/s downwards. Setting a firm but fair approach to ways of working within the team- approach to lunches, smarter working, lateness and sickness, annual leave etc.
