Overview

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. To manage and maintain the group assets across the company Estate, Sustainability, Offices, Retail, Residential properties both rental and for sale after lease up and stabilised, and Car Parks to the required exemplary standards, within the agreed service charges. To be accountable for and ensure the financial targets and other agreed targets as set out in the Business Plan are met; To liaise with the CEO to set strategic goals and make decisions for operational activities; To identify improvement areas and plans and use technology to boost company effectiveness and increase productivity and profitability which could be extended across the Group; To establish core values for the company aligned to the rest of the Group; To engage with the company employees regularly to ensure company goals are being met; To ensure CWG remains a leader in sustainability through the introduction of innovative and effective initiatives; To evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures and systems according to organisational objectives and effect improvements; Monitor and evaluate the day-to-day running of the business to ensure strategic and operational objectives are met by gathering, analysing and interpreting data and metrics; Identify opportunities for revenue and strategies for further value and investment through ongoing analysis of the Estate and the market; To approve the proposed annual service charge budgets of circa £109m, prepared by the company Directors for final approval by the CEO, relating to the Managed Office, Retail and Estate and all other designated areas of responsibility; To ensure the Estate (16.5 million square feet, 30 buildings), 5 shopping malls, 20 acres of outdoor space, 150 tenants, 120,000 workers and 40,000 daily visitors remains a safe and secure environment through an effective and robust Security strategy; To take a leadership role in monitoring performance against CWM goals and ensuring appropriate quality control measures and procedures are in place; Manage and develop the company senior management team, ensuring that there is a robust succession plan in place that is regularly reviewed; To maintain excellent relationships with the stakeholders/tenants on the Estate and the community off the Estate; To maintain Recertification and accreditation of International Standards 9001 (Quality Management), 14001 (Environmental), 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Standard). 50001 (Energy Management), 23001 (Business Continuity); Ensure the company continue to lead in the company sustainability – ie waste, energy, recycling, carbon footprint; Extensive experience at Board Level of managing a commercial estate. A sound knowledge of operational facilities required by prestigious and “intelligent” buildings. Degree educated, together with membership of a relevant professional body. Previous experience of extensive staff management and outstanding leadership and motivation is essential, together with development and performance management. The incumbent must be highly numerate and have the ability to organise staff resources effectively and efficiently. Experience in financial and budgetary control is an essential element. Ability to manage multiple complex projects and write concise comprehensive reports. Capable of implementing strategy through the development of policies and procedures. A sound knowledge of industry best practice, legal rules and guidelines. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential, with the ability to influence. An open and approachable personality, with excellent interpersonal skills.
