Overview

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company in the IT sector. Define and improve how the company collects, manages and leverages internal and external data sources. Identify, build and optimise profitable services. Optimise internal and supply partner operations. Develop solutions and models using appropriate machine learning approaches. Define and lead a portfolio of data science projects. Provide data science input to product strategy. Select appropriate solutions to business opportunities. Educated to Bachelor's/Master's/PhD level in STEM (Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Economics) Have strong experience in working in a data science team within a scaling organisation Have excellent knowledge of data science tools and languages, including, R, Python coding, SQL and production tools. Possess a deep understanding of fundamentals of probability and statistics. Have experience working with large location data sets Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with various differen areas of the business
