Overview

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. Oversee the entire marketing function, leading marketing initiatives aligned with all strategic business planning Drive global brand leadership of the company in television ecosystem (broadcasters, content producers, OTT players, SaaS platforms, and television/digital media measurement. Develop and execute marketing strategies based around social digital, events, partner, and channel marketing Work directly with the leadership team to develop and deliver the overall marketing strategy for the company Drive and ensure a cultural awareness of the marketing strategy and vision across the company Build excitement for marketing initiatives by inviting participation and collaboration from senior leaders and wider company as appropriate Lead a team of full-time marketing specialists and outsourced marketing resources, such as a designer and event manager to assist in these areas Develop a blueprint of client experience management including client onboarding, educational programs, awards, and client recognition Cultivate consistent client conversations and case studies Evaluate current strategic positioning and investigate new opportunities to reach the company intended audiences Create a targeted approach to demand generation Support the company expansion to make sure the company stay consistent all over the world. Ability to spend significant time travelling to global markets. Travel is a big part of this role 10 years of experience in a similar Head of Marketing (CMO) (leadership) position, preferably in a television or media company Experience working in a tech start-up environment (highly desirable) Direct experience in global brand development, brand franchising, product marketing, and developing a globally dispersed team Ambitious, hands-on attitude and comfort with owning the “brand” across geographies Ability to develop intimate partnership with the company and GroupM senior leadership and the company agency development teams Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex projects and bringing original ideas forward, especially in fast-paced business environment Have built a global team of marketing specialists Worked in adjacent sectors to television (television first not digital first) A brand genius who has built start-up brands Ability to develop killer strategy and value props to serve broadcasters, adtech, measurement and agency communities. Great taste in design and great copywriting. Excellent communication with charisma and presentation skills; can tell a compelling story and develop new perception of a brand Experience managing external design and PR agencies to amplify the company leaders’ reputations and brand voice in the media space BA/BS in Marketing or similar
