Overview

We're looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company. Oversee the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of a Company-wide data protection program that meets evolving GDPR requirements, including our Binding Corporate Rules program Help manage and implement tools and processes to address evolving privacy and data protection risks inherent in the Company’s EMEA operations Participate in new business initiatives and product development activities across EMEA Act as the Company’s GDPR Data Protection Officer including running the DPO office, issuing guidance and alerts, and offering training as needed Be the subject matter expert in response to unauthorised loss or disclosure of personal data Significant experience of understanding complex regulatory and contractual requirements and developing and implementing risk-based data protection and privacy programs Experience working in a global matrixed organisation and leading groups of geographically dispersed professionals Experience interacting with regulators and/or law enforcement authorities on issues relating to data protection and privacy Good understanding of information technology systems and their security requirements Ability to think strategically and to develop a multi-year, multi-faceted plan to address data protection and privacy risks
