Overview
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, the Sales Manager - International is responsible for securing sales and termed contract growth opportunities internationally and in the UK, to consistently meet and exceed the sales and growth targets of The Fire Service College (FSC) Business Plan and Growth Strategy, contributing to the achievement of a turnover of £30M by 2022. Working as an integral part of the Sales and Marketing team and the wider Capita Growth Team, engaging with key stakeholders, businesses, International Civil Defence Fire and Rescue Services, the wider "blue light" communities, other government agencies and departments, private sector, European Emergency Services and international agencies and businesses, you will be responsible for preparing and executing a plan to achieve sales targets, to meet FSC revenue targets on an annual basis, in line with the annual business plan and the 3 year growth strategy. You will ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved for all relevant customers as well as taking commercial responsibility for all business transacted and ensuring that all company procedures are followed and adhered to.
