Overview

POST- Recruitment is working with an award winning financial services business in their search for an exceptional Sales Account Manager. Based at their head office in Wakefield, you'll be responsible for generating and closing business from their teams existing client base of SME's. This role will be directly reporting in to the divisional manager and you will be supporting the external sales team, identifying further opportunities for existing account growth. The Role - An office-based, targeted sales and account management role To provide excellent relationship management for designated partners by way of telephone and email contact To pro-actively generate and close finance opportunities through close working with the sales management and sales teams of designated partners To develop the companies presence and penetration of each designated partner fully using the available sales and marketing resources. Key Responsibilities - To maintain regular contact with sales management and all sales people working for designated partners, developing strong relationships across each partner's whole business To generate and deliver new business leads and opportunities to designated partners To provide support via telephone and email to designated partners (and, where relevant or necessary, their customers) in order to close and then facilitate the processing of specific opportunities To achieve access to the business pipelines of designated partners in order to generate future opportunities for the business To maintain a healthy pipeline of future opportunities at all times To ensure sales targets for each partner and your area are met or exceeded at all times To have excellent knowledge and awareness of all products and services and ensure that the full range is offered to partners To have excellent knowledge and awareness of the market and key competitors. To ensure that your divisional manager is kept fully up to date on activity and performance and provide reports on activity and performance when required Required Experience - Must have a minimum of 3 years B2B sales experience Experience in managing large resellers/channel partners in the interiors/furniture industry or IT industry is highly desirable. Dynamic, hard-working, sales-focused and target driven achiever Relationship builder - extremely personable with excellent communication and inter-personal skills To be proficient and confident working with numbers. To be able to work efficiently in a highly pressurised sales environment To be organised and methodical in approach The Offer My client is looking to offer a basic salary of £30,000 with an uncapped commission structure (usually 10.5% of GP target). Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
