Overview
Hours of Work Some flexibility will be required according to business needs. Usual office hours will be: - Monday 8:15-17:00 - Tuesday to Thursday 8:30-17:00 - Friday 08:30-16:00 Purpose Statement This is a 100% sales focused and target driven business-to-business (B2B) role consisting of cold calling and lead generation with a view to making appointments for the NBE's. You will communicate via telephone and email. As the role involves introducing the Company to the potential client for the first time creating an excellent first impression is imperative. You will be responsible for lead generation and opening the door for NBE's to bring new clients on board. Accountabilities Liaise with New Business Executives on a daily basis to discuss updates, plans and targets - Correctly qualify the company and ensure reaching decision makers - Call prospects to arrange meetings for your NBE within your designated postcode area - Influence and convince prospects to meet with a NBE by delivering a professional sales pitch discussing services and products. - Provide prospects with required information in professional format - Build relationships with the Decision Makers, diarising call backs and cancellations - Resilience and the capacity to grow adapt to an ever-changing work environment. - Maintain and update the company data base with accurate information on a daily basis. - Update the NBE's calendar with all new meetings and meeting cancellations - Prepare and produce reports when required. - Achieve all daily, weekly and monthly KPI's - Provide support to new employees and provide on the job training where required encouraging new team members to thrive within the business. - To attend and fully participate in on-going training and development, regular performance reviews, monthly one to one meetings and company appraisal system. - Contribute to overall team effort to ensure company new business targets are consistently achieved. - Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the company - Adhere to the company and department standards, policies and procedures. - Adhere to data protection guidelines, ensuring all prospects are aware that all calls are recorded - Adhere to the policies and procedures to attain and maintain the required competency level to perform the role and, in particular, to promote a culture where customers are treated fairly, with openness and honesty. - Apply company values in all day to day activities. - Understand the health, safety, environmental & associated legal requirements that are relevant to our work and comply with these.
