Hayley Group are looking for dynamic and experienced internal sales personnel to join this highly motivated team at their Leeds-Bradford branch. Job Title: Internal Sales Location: Leeds-Bradford Working Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday. Additional working hours may be required during busy periods. Purpose: As Internal Sales, the key responsibilities are to support sales, follow-up and manage customer orders from inception through to the fulfilment stage. The candidate will be a highly motivated individual who will project a professional company image whilst offering an exceptional level of customer service and after sales support. Main duties & responsibilities: Liaise with customers to deal with their specific requirements, selecting the most effective products/solution to meet their needs, while ensuring all sales are profitable. Provide excellent customer service including dealing with customer phone calls, email requests and website enquiries Preparation of quotations, meeting the requirements of the application and closing dates. Maintain close contact with customers, build up rapport and establish customer loyalty, give excellent customer response. Present and sell company products and services to current and potential customers Identify and resolve client concerns Procure materials on a competitive price basis. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned Knowledge & Skills requirements : Product knowledge of one or more of the following sectors - Fluid Power, Bearings, Power Transmission, PPE & Tools Customer focused, driven to provide consistent high level of service Good customer care skills Strong communication skills Professional level of verbal and written communication skills, numerate Valid driving license Proficient basic IT skills Accuracy and attention to detail Good organisational skills An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines An ability to work independently and as a team Good administrative skills Quick to learn Proactivity A "can-do" attitude. Good knowledge of the area and customers is preferable Other: Whilst sales experience and product knowledge are desirable, these are not essential, as training will be provided. Be flexible to the requirements of the business Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job Adhere to all company policies and procedures Observe Quality Standard guidelines Health & Safety responsibilities: Take care of own safety and that of others. Comply with health and safety procedures and instructions. Not neglect, misuse, and damage anything provided in the interest of health and safety.
