Job Title: Assistant Director of Governance, Planning and Property Location: London Salary: £60k Shelter exists to defend the right to a safe home. Every year, we help defend the rights of millions struggling with bad housing or homelessness through our advice, support, and legal services. And we campaign to make sure that, one day, a safe home will be a reality for everyone. The Assistant Director of Governance, Planning & Property, a newly created role, which will be an integral role within Shelter's strategic and operational leadership teams. You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for operational planning & performance, risk management, property, procurement and governance frameworks. Working closely with the Senior Executive Team, peers and other stakeholders, to support and foster key decision making across the charity which feeds into the strategic ambitions of the organisation. We are looking for an exceptional individual with a successful leadership track record, of developing, driving and supporting operational planning and performance management with a diverse range of stakeholders. With significant experience of charity governance and working with non-executive trustees and committees, you will act as a strategic enabler in delivering cross organisational activity and strategic objectives. You will enjoy cultivating positive relationships working across the whole organisation having substantial input to high level decision making.
