Overview
Description We are currently working with an established market leader in the Food & Beverage industry, who through growth require an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join the existing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a successful, highly driven sales professional to join a rapidly growing family run business. The main purpose of this role is to drive commercial activities within the region and to contribute to the further development and growth of the business. Strengthening business relations with existing customers in the food and beverage categories whilst focusing on developing new business relationships. Requirements Deliver profitable Sales Growth to exceed sales targets and customer business plans. Demonstrate structured sales skills to deliver sales and upsell the product range into existing and new potential customers. Able to generate new business leads, follow up on them and secure them. Assessing market potentials and target new customers. Able to produce customer business plans to communicate daily / weekly 'activity plans' to support and deliver business growth. Work closely with Internal departments to identify and develop new business opportunities Strategically plan your time and diary efficiently To develop and maintain high levels of competitor awareness and to be able to use this knowledge to identify and exploit commercial opportunities. Confident to work remotely on own initiative with daily business communication In order to be considered for the role, you must hold the below personal attributes: Proven sales experience working within consumable and or technical sales - With an understanding of the Food & Beverage Industry Excellent communicator with ability to influence customer networks at all levels, with excellent problem-solving skills. Natural Hunter Competent IT skills with Microsoft Office suite. Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively remotely. Ability to manage appointment schedule, with strong time management skills. An enthusiastic attitude to proactively drive sales and help develop the business. Located on or near the M62 Corridor predominantly covering the Greater Manchester region Home office Space A valid UK driving license.
