Overview
Graduate Sales Executive / Graduate Technical Sales Consultant / Scientific Sales Trainee £24k-£28k basic Dependant on Experience Commission Car. Our client is a worldwide market leader in the supply of Scientific Equipment. Due to growth they are looking to recruit a Trainee Technical Salesperson / Graduate Sales Executive / Graduate Technical Sales Consultant / Scientific Sales Trainee to assume responsibility for a range of Scientific instrumentation and consumable products. They are seeking an exceptionally confident, highly motivated and outgoing individual, educated to degree level in a Science Discipline. Ideally Bio-Chemistry / Chemistry however others will be considered. It is important you grasp new scientific concepts quickly - willingness to self-learn and adapt will be essential to your success. Your duties will be primarily customer facing, hence they are looking for a real 'people person’ who enjoys building relationships. Sales presentations and technical demonstrations will become second nature to you - you need to be well presented, a good communicator and have a 'hands-on’ approach. You will meet with personnel from various sectors and at varying levels of seniority. This is an interesting opportunity to work in a growing market sector with some excellent products and wide scope of industry to develop, from Security, Defence, Nuclear and Industrial. The post will involve an initial training period of 3-6 months with direct support from your Sales Manager and other Sales Executives in the business. During, and after this training period you will travel extensively throughout the UK promoting and selling specific products. Naturally, as your expertise grows you will assume a 'product specialist role’ being responsible for key product lines and becoming an important member of the company’s international sales team. For the right candidate, they will offer a good basic salary and an uncapped commission structure. They will also provide a fully-expensed company car, laptop, mobile phone and formal certificated sales training.
